“No!”
Yeah, No! That’s what I’ve been telling my mother for the past three days. Truth be told, it’s not because I don’t want to see the doctor. But then again, I’m effing sick. I can’t even speak, I sleep too easily, and I can’t eat chocolates.
I repeat, I CAN’T EAT CHOCOLATES. And worst part about it is that I need chocolates at this time of the month. *sobs* I need to find a new snack, and I don’t think Australian nougats are the cheapest option. (It’s so expensive here!)
I’ve resorted to eating oats for a span of one and a half months because my brother won’t eat dinner with us. It’s not like he doesn’t want to, but it’s mainly because he has training for Wu Shu, and it’s going to be until 20th July. So yeah, high fibre diet, here I come!
Today I spent my morning going out. It was okay, but I got so frustrated when we went to terminate our old internet account. I currently have much better internet with the introduction of 7.2mb/s connections here. Goodbye to annoying 256kb/s browsing!
I spent my afternoon watching Windstruck. I really love the movie, but the ending wasn’t what I really liked. Ah well. I did laugh several times during the beginning, and I ended up crying from the climax onwards. I know, I know. No one in RL thinks I would cry over movies. Everyone thinks I’m the cold heartless tomboy. Sigh.
Anyways, if you haven’t watched Windstruck, and you love sappy romantic shows like I do, go on and watch it. A similar movie to this is A Walk to Remember. I’m going to watch The Notebook soon, thanks to Enzo’s suggestion.
Alright, I’m going to continue watching TV now, so I’ll blog late tomorrow night, as per usual. Oh and I’m looking for more blogs to add to my blogroll so if you comment in any posts, I’ll add in your link.. eventually ![]()
I can’t blame you for saying no. I hate seeing doctors and taking medicine. I often see misdiagnoses of people and people taking the wrong medicine for years. If it gets bad enough though… usually go.
Get well soon!
P.S: I love the theme:)
You can’t eat chocolates?!? :O
A Walk To Remember is such a good movie, as is The Notebook! Even my boyfriend cried when he watched The Notebook, haha.
Aww lovely new layout! I really like the colour scheme and the wood background. But two things: (1) For some reason scrolling up and down your blog is very laggy? (2) The font colour in all the comments fields is too close to the backgrounds. Very hard to see the text. x_x
But why can’t you eat chocolates? Is it the content within them? And eww, Aussie nougats? Why would you want Aussie nougats? The best nougats I’ve had are from Taiwan.
And I bet that in general, Asian nougats taste way better.
Wait… 7.2mb/s connection? As in that’s the max connection or it actually downloads your normal daily stuff at 7.2mb/s? It says our max connection speed is 7.6mb/s but it downloads files at around 200kb/s and it’s more than 10 times slower than in USA/UK/Australia. RAWR…
To Rilla and Shen-Shen:
I can’t eat chocolates because when I’ve a sorethroat, I can’t eat sticky stuff. I end up barfing :S I don’t know why though.
Rilla,
1. I don’t find it laggy here o_O strange…
2. Oh, I didn’t take into account for those with a different monitor screen. I’ll change it later
Ausie nougats because they’re a gift from my relative in Australia. It’s free, so I’ll enjoy it, while stock lasts!
7.2mb/s is the max, but then yeah, it’s something like your case. But at least it’s much better than my old connection. Last time the speeds seemed to be about 64kb/s per download >.<
Ugh, I’m sorry you’re sick, it must be crappy to be sick. Especially since you can’t eat chocolate. Good thing you’re vision isn’t impaired, that would mean you couldn’t eat chocolate or watch television — the two (and only two) best things to do while you’re sick.
A Walk to Remember is amazing. It’s so heartfelt and touching. The Notebook is just as good. Basically, anything written by Nicholas Sparks is fabulous. I’ll have to watch Windstruck, though. I’ll add it to my Netflix account ASAP.
Thanks for the suggestion!
